To further the research work which has been continuous since the first cleanroom door was developed, Caydor have recently installed the latest model Px Turboroll door in a cleanroom for contractors TSL Projects.
The latest concept has taken into consideration ancilliary items which come with the door.
Previous doors needed the control box to be mounted external to the room where the door was sited.
The latest model has the control panel incorporated within the guide leg of the door, along with a UPS battery backup system which allows the door to be operated in the event of a power failure.
PERSONNEL SAFETY PROTECTION
A unique patented detection device has been incorporated in this latest model.
Acting in place of a standard bottom safety edge, the new device identifies any object approaching the door rather than reacting to touching an object and returning to fully open.
ACTIVATORS
These vary according to the operation required by the client. Touchless sensors can be mounted on the door or adjacent to it on the wall.
A new digital reader can be used which lifts information off a tag on the coat or badge of the user and only allows it to open the door if the information meets criteria of the security in the area.
All the usual activation methods are still available to use with the new door.
The doors are suitable for pharmaceutical or high care food industry.
Curtains come in a range of colours and styles.
Door construction - usually stainless steel - is available in a range of finishes.
